FSX Kawasaki Ki-100-I Ko The Kawasaki Ki-100 was a fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II. 275 Ki-100 airframes were built as Ki-61's before being modified to accept a radial engine in place of the original inline engine. The emergency measure of adapting a Ki-61-II-KAI fighter to carry a Mitsubishi radial engine resulted in one of the best interceptors used by the Army during the entire war. FS2002 Takhli RTAFB as it appeared in the late 1960s at the height of the Vietnam War. During those years, Takhli was the home of the USAFs 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, which flew F-105 Thunderchiefs and RB/EB-66 Destroyers. A large number of KC-135 tankers were also stationed at Takhli. In December 1970 the 355th TFW was deactivated and the airbase was closed. However, Takhli was reopened in April 1972 and served as a major base of combat operations during the Linebacker I and II campaigns. This is the sixth in a series of Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. The assistance of ?Bangkok Bob? Vaughn and other Takhli veterans in constructing this model is sincerely appreciated. CFS2/FS2002/FS2004 Martin Mariner PBM-3C. The "PBM-3C", with initial rollout in late 1942 and a total of 274 built. It featured greater crew armor protection, twin gun front and dorsal turrets, an improved tail turret that retained a single gun, and the ASV radar and dome, though it appears that not all PBM-3Cs had the radar.
