The ship carries a complement of Dassault Rafale M and E-2C Hawkeye, as well as modern electronics and Aster missiles. She is the second largest European carrier, after the Admiral Kuznetsov. It is a CATOBAR-type carrier that uses the same catapult system as that installed on the US Nimitz class carriers, the 75 m C13-3 steam catapult.

FS2004/2002 FSDS2 Hunting/BAC Jet Provost T.Mk5 v 2.0 Package. 24/10/2004 This file contains Jet provost model & includes a custom Panel & suitable sounds by Aaron Swindle. Model updated to fix lots of problems. VC panel fixed by dividing projection panel for gauges into 3 screens instead of one. Now Gauges are sharp & fully legible in VC view. VC canopy frame completely rebuilt as it looked awful. New pilots with animated heads added to match my DH Chipmunk model. Wingtip tanks model added. 3 more RAF paint schemes added. Wing lift reduced 10%. Spoiler drag reduced 30%. Engine flame added with feint exhaust smoke/haze controlled by throttle. FS2002/FS2004 Grumman F9F-8 Cougar. The Grumman F9F/F-9 Cougar was an aircraft carrier-based fighter aircraft for the United States Navy. Based on the earlier Grumman F9F Panther, the Cougar replaced the Panther's straight wing with a more modern swept wing. The Navy considered the Cougar an updated version of the Panther, despite having a different official name, and thus Cougars started off from F9F-6 upwards. Three kinds of models (Clean / with Pylon / with pylon and weapons) are included. This is a model of Clemenceau circa 1990's. It's built for FSX Acceleration featuring working catapult and arrestor wires for naval ops. For unknown reason, only the front catapult works: I can't manage to make more than one catapult working... Unfortunately, Acceleration landing lights system is coded for modern US carrier, with a 50 meters width deck, and so I had to built the Clemenceau FLOLS from scratch: the result is a little frustrating... This model hasn't been tested for other version of FSX(RTM or SP1) or FS9. Sylvain Parouty
