Percival K3 Vega Gull
(Category: FSX > Props)

Percival K3 Vega Gull.
Version fixed and tested to work in FSX/P3Dv1-3.
The next development in the Vega Gull was the series 3 (or K3) model.
A redesigned windscreen is the most obvious change as well as the loss of the overhead rear passenger windows.
K3's were fitted with CSU operated Gipsy Six II or Gipsy Queen II & VP Props.
This model tries to represent C/n 105, one of 8 ordered by the Air Ministry & taken on charge by 24 Sqdn Hendon in April 1939.
She survived WWII & was sold to Essex Aero Ltd in 1945 becoming G-AHET.
The paint scheme depicted as P5989 is shown here, having been totally re-textured under instruction from Nigel Richards, & with a lot of experimentation by me, to try and acheive a more realistic silver paint finish. (I think it looks better in FSX). Nigel also kindly let me use, as a basis for my male occupants faces, his, as used in his Avro 621 series models.
G-AHET passed through various other owners, the most famous being Mike Hawthorn, the racing driver. She seems to have met her fate with Noel Husbands, being badly damaged in a forced landing in May 1960. Will work in FSX and P3D up to v3 (Not v4). 2d panel but no VC. Keith Paine

CFS2
Defence of the Republic - Revised-
Spanish Civil War Mission. The Spanish Civil War, which began on
19 July, 1936 and ended on 28 March, 1939, was significant in the
history of military aviation as the testing-ground for the aircraft
and tactics of the early years of World War II. It was also notable
for the extensive foreign involvement both from foreign governments
and on the individual level as thousands of foreign nationals volunteering
to man infantry brigades and to fly the aircraft in combat. You
will participate as a foreign pilot from (fill in the blank with
your favorite country) who has volunteered to fly for the Spanish
Republic beginning in 1936 and ending in August 1937. At that time,
most volunteer pilots had left Spain, being replaced by Spanish
pilots who had been trained in Russia during the previous year.

ME309V4 version 1.0.
An original design by Gerald Lindell. Features full animation including
retractable radiator. Fsds2 model by Gerald Lindell, textures by George
Lindell and flight model, dp and vc gauges byh Andre van Duin. This
plane featured many new ideas such as pressurized cockpit, tricycle
landing gear and retractable radiator. There were only four made (V1
and V2) and never made it into production. The BF109G could out turn
it and it was judged inferior to the FW190D. If first flew on June
1942. 2.1MB

Hercules C130 High Resolution Photoreal panel. This panel
was designed from a series of magnificent Hi resolution flight
deck photos taken in the RNZAF Hercules NZ 7002 by Steve Moore,
without whose help this panel would still be a dream. The panel
includes all interior views along with a Flight Engineers view.
Many of the gauges have been repainted to convey the realistic
appearance of this panel and to give the feeling that you are
really flying a Herc. Author, Clive Ryan. 5.5MB
