I can remember as a kid back in the 60's watching him on some of those tours entertaining troops and making those rough times a little bit more enjoyable in those days of "Conflict". Bob also did more than his part to bring smiles & laughs to a time that the world was making drastic changes for both better and worse, he made things a little easier to cope with. FS2004 Aerostar Super 700 - Spirit of Kai Tak. The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin aircraft. The "Spirit of Kai Tak" competed in and won the London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. Even though it bore a USA registration, the team actually was based in Hong Kong (hence the dragon livery and name!) At times during the race they were actually recording over 300 knots airspeed!
