Modifications are made for, again, a wonderful created Piper aircraft by Rien Cornelissen. This time it concerns the Piper Arrow-IV PA-28T-201 aircraft that Rien made in 2008. At first I hesitated on doing modifications on this Arrow IV as it did look great and performed well. Also the VC of Rien is nice but after some testing I did not like the lights configuration of the aircraft in Prepar3D. Then I thought it would be nice to give Rien's VC an even more 'old school' look... So here I started to make a mod of the Arrow IV. It will be my last one of Rien's creations. The modifications consist of some recoded gauges, some new gauges, an enhanced Bendix King Auto Pilot, reference and checklists kneeboard files, four expandable gauges and Cockpit sounds. An extra panel was created with a Garmin GNS530 in VC. Stock Bendix King Radio gauges are replaced with equivalent ones by ones created by Pierre Fasseaux. Further improvements concern aircraft lights and aircraft lights management. Finally three new liveries are provided. This is a panel imrovement for the Curtiss Goshawk BF-2C-1 for FSX and P3D by A.F. Scrub. It is particularly adressed to those who like to have an authentic panel with an aircraft. "imp" means imperfect, as other mesh I have already processed is of areas that have very little vegetation cover - over the land, or has large urban areas. This "imp" mesh will include some slight discrepancies of altitude (in the case of forested areas - by a magnitude sometimes of +15 metres-depending on how tall the trees are, in the jungle or forest canopy) over urban areas, or areas with a lot of vegetation cover - due to the limitations of the ASTER satellites infra red scanning cameras, and the software used to process the DEM data. Areas where there is little vegetation cover, or non urban areas, the terrain should have truer values. But I feel this ASTER DEM data is so good - why let it all go to waste - especially flying over lovely Pacific islands? So you FSX users out there will have to take all this into account when using this mesh. Grateful thanks to ERSDAC, and NASA for making this data freely available to the public. When destroyed on the ground you get credit for an aircraft kill! Unzip these and drop them into your CFS3, Facilities folder. This is freeware and may not be sold. FS2002 Douglas DC-3 Air Atlantique G-AMRA Air Atlantique's famous 1944 DC-3 is a frequent visitor to air shows in Britain and, since her acquisition in 1981, has carried all manner of different cargo for the company. Today she is better known for her popular scenic flights. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. FS2004 Piaggio P-149D Italian Air Force Textures only. The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat capacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe (P-149D) as a training aircraft. Only a P-149 (first prototype, MM559) belonged to Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) and was used, during '60, by Italian Ambassade in West Germany.
