The VG 39 commenced its flight test program on 3 May 1940, unfortunately too late to change the flow of the events. The prototype differed from the VG 33 primarily in having a 1200hp Hispano-Suiza Type 89ter 12-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with an elongated propeller shaft, a revised wing structure which retained the profile and contours of the earlier wing, and a wing-mounted armament of six 7.5mm MAC 1934 M39 machine guns. FSX Update for the Bristol B-188

The Bristol B-188 was a British experimental reconnaisance aircraft developed in the early 1960s. The aircraft was expected to run at Mach2 for extended periods of time, allowing it to study kinetic heating effects on such an aircraft. The aircraft was expected to spend a considerable amount of time with a skin temperature around 300 Celsius. This is an update of my previous FSX update from 2014, now featuring a new and much more realistic virtual cockpit with
new side consoles and animated yoke. Automatic afterburner and smoke effect added. I also fixed the transparent cockpit floor. Original model by Bob Hazelcline, Brian Horsey and Ralph Pegram. Updated for FSX, new VC and effects by Michael Pook.

Ballenstedt Airfield, Germany. Located in the eastern foothills of the Harz (North German low mountain range) and with twenty thousand aircraft movements per year, a relatively busy airport.
High detail scenery. All important objects have been created using actual photos of the airfield.
Also some clearly visible landmarks are included, like the large photovoltaic arrangement north of the asphalt runway and the large pig farm Asmusstedt, situated east of the field. An additional important point of reference for glider pilots is the so called "Gegenstein", - a rock on the hill south of the Glider field.
Also includes seasonal effects.
Third party object libraries are used, check the readme for more details.
