Its been a while but Im still workin for ya. Im running this bird in Vista 32bit FSX Acceleration and it flies great and prompted me to spend hours redoing the interior to give it atmosphere for those of us who like to sit in the back and chill. I have redone all texture colors and 80 pct of interior textures and a couple xtra liveries and bonus onboard pics of Rita Hayworth. FSX Douglas DC-6 Package (early version). This is a new model of the DC-6 in its earliest form, with short nose (no weather radar), round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers and Pioneer PB-10 autopilot. These aircraft were delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. Later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped 'paddle' propellers and more powerful engines. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6's were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains models & liveries for American, United, and Delta Airlines in the U.S domestic configuration, as well as SAS and Sabena in the overwater version with 5-man crew, astrodome for navigation etc. Includes virtual cockpit. I updated Varnavskiy Sergey's FS2002/2004 Il-76 by: replacing the non compatible gauges in the original 2D panel with ones by Brett Hoskin's, Vladimir Zhyhulskiy, and Alexander Vishnyakov. I also added the Ilyushin Il-76 Soloviev D-30KP Soundset by Mike Maarse, Chen Yeng's China Air Force texture, (Mike Pearson's 1979, 1999, & 2005 Aeroflot and UN) textures. I re-worked Raymond Karsten's Atlant Soyuz texture. And I created a Soviet/Russian Air force texture and an Emercom of Russia "RA-76840" texture plus included all the texture thumbnails. No VC panel.
