The end result is an aircraft that burns 40% less fuel than the average jet of comparable size, while flying at the same speed range, or 30% less than an equivalent size turboprop, as it flies much faster. The pusher propellers on the wings mounted much backwards thanks to the forward wing set make it a comfortable and quiet ride for the passengers, that also enjoy a very spacious cabin for an aircraft of this size. An FSX adaptation of Tim Conrad's sweet little X-24 Lifting Body. Built as a atmospheric test vehicle for a planed orbital version intended to be a military spaceplane lofted by a Titan launcher. A series of unmanned half scale X-24's were flown on sub-orbital and orbital test flights to validate Hypersonic and reentry performance. The design performed well, and detail design and operational doctrine for the orbital military version was well advanced when the airforce walked away from manned military capability. Mr.Conrads X-24 is a FS2002/2004 model that, with modifications, looks and works great in FSX. The panel has been re-worked using Mr.Conrads T-2 gauge cab(included). Flight model has been re worked to give HOTOL LEO capability (Nuclear gas core/H2 rocket?) A couple of new textures for hypothetical 'operational TAV-24's' included. SEAFSXMS.ZIP is a revision of the default Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac), Boeing Field, Renton and Paine Field airports to work with MegaScenery Earth. The artificial plateau that Seatac is built on has been expanded and the 3rd runway added. Runways, taxiways and various structures have been revised and/or relocated to match MegaScenery Earth ground textures. Default objects have been used in most cases to minimize FPS impact. She can supply a fleet including one carrier, five scorts and 20 aircrafts during 21 days. She can carry up to five helicopters for air supply and other missions. Model designed with FSDSV3. Textures based on photographies from www.fotosdebarcos.com. Landings deck designed with AFCAD. Includes deck lights for night flights. Area 51 Airbase, Nevada. I don't think Area 51 needs explanation. I just say that it's a secret base (the most famous in the world) which operates since the sovietic war (also known as "cold war"). It's located on a protected zone in the Nevada desert. Only authorized personnel allowed. In my work I did the best. I think that it is the most similar project than ever. Try to believe you are there! Anything in this scenery is new: fsx did not a good job with the default, so I started from zero. Now it's full of objects.
