An FSX adaptation of Tim Conrad's sweet little X-24 Lifting Body. Built as a atmospheric test vehicle for a planed orbital version intended to be a military spaceplane lofted by a Titan launcher. A series of unmanned half scale X-24's were flown on sub-orbital and orbital test flights to validate Hypersonic and reentry performance. The design performed well, and detail design and operational doctrine for the orbital military version was well advanced when the airforce walked away from manned military capability. Mr.Conrads X-24 is a FS2002/2004 model that, with modifications, looks and works great in FSX. The panel has been re-worked using Mr.Conrads T-2 gauge cab(included). Flight model has been re worked to give HOTOL LEO capability (Nuclear gas core/H2 rocket?) A couple of new textures for hypothetical 'operational TAV-24's' included. A fascinating glimpse of an Air Force that almost was.

FSX Douglas DC-6 Package (early version). This is a new model of the DC-6 in its earliest form, with short nose (no weather radar), round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers and Pioneer PB-10 autopilot. These aircraft were delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. Later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped 'paddle' propellers and more powerful engines. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6's were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains models & liveries for American, United, and Delta Airlines in the U.S domestic configuration, as well as SAS and Sabena in the overwater version with 5-man crew, astrodome for navigation etc. Includes virtual cockpit. FS98/CFS CASA C-212 Aviocar Chilean Air Force - Fuerza Aerea de Chile The Spanish C-212 is a tough, simple, cost-effective twin turboprop with fixed landing gear, as well as a large rear freight door with ramp. It is used by Chilean Air Force and Chilean Army for troops or skydivers transport, cargo and light vehicles transport. Detailed textures and doors opens when engines shut down. The Hawker Siddeley Harrier, known colloquially as the "Harrier Jump Jet", was developed in the 1960s and formed the first generation of the Harrier series of aircraft. It was the first operational close-support and reconnaissance fighter aircraft with vertical/short takeoff and landing (V/STOL) capabilities and the only truly successful V/STOL design of the many that arose in that era. The Harrier was produced directly from the Hawker Siddeley Kestrel prototypes following the cancellation of a more advanced supersonic aircraft, the Hawker Siddeley P.1154. The British Royal Air Force (RAF) ordered the Harrier GR.1 and GR.3 variants in the late 1960s. It was exported to the United States as the AV-8A, for use by the US Marine Corps (USMC), in the 1970s. 2d panel only. No VC (press F10 to see 2d panel)
