This is the fantastic Douglas DC-4 originally done by Jens B. Kristensen. Whom has given me the permission to modify his wonderful aircraft and update these particular versions for use in P3Dv4+. The models have been updated with new sounds, external models to represent 3 different versions of the DC-4/C-54 airtankers, PBR added, and updated 4k textures across the board. Operators Aero-Flite, Aero Union, Ardco, Buffalo Airways, and TBM are represented in the pack across 10 repaints. The DC-4/C-54 was one of the most prolifically used airtankers in the industry in the United States, they served from the 1970s until 2007 despite many years of life still left in them. Some never moved from their offseason homes and were scrapped, while smaller numbers were sold off and turned into rural cargo/fuel haulers, and transports. An even smaller number continued flying as airtankers. Buffalo Airways as of 2023 still has DC-4 tankers. Of the unique models that are represented here, one special version is known as the DC-4 'Super.' The Super was a specially modified DC-4 only two were ever made and only one lived on. It became owned by Ardco. This DC-4 was modified with R2600 engines instead of the R2000s equipped on the standard variant. The limited amount of time and engineering to this upgrade left it functioning, but not to it's full potential. The propeller was retained from the R2000 which resulted in the engine RPMs being limited. Despite the R2600s, the Super was not faster than a standard DC-4, however, the big notable difference was in climb performance. And in many hot and high density altitude operations in the hot western United States, the DC-4 Super had an advantage over the standard DC-4 in terms of useable power. With a decent carriable load of 18,000 LBS or around 2,000 US gallons of retardant. The DC-4/C-54s could operate even off the shortest air attack bases, largely leading to why it was so prolifically used in aerial firefighting. Original Aircraft by Jens B. This small repaint pack was created mainly for P3D users, and the stock Captain Sim C-130 provided with P3D. But the liveries should work in FSX with some modifications to the aircraft.cfg entries provided in this pack. As P3D and FSX models differ if these are to be applied to the Captain Sim C-130X pack aircraft. These textures are designed to replace the Cal Fire C-130 in my original C-130 airtanker texture package, but that package is not required. Updates to the livery on T-118 were made to accurately represent the final livery design for Cal Fire. I have also included T-116, which will be the second Cal Fire HC-130H to enter service. The Cal Fire Hercules' are expected to enter service some time in mid-late 2021, equipped with Coulson's RADS XXL 4,000 gallon constant flow tanks. The same system in their C-130s. Cal Fire came to acquire these HC-130Hs from the USFS' now ended tanker program after only a few seasons of use. The USFS had acquired them originally from the US Coast Guard in exchange for surplus C-27J Spartans from the USAF. Cal Fire has acquired all 7 aircraft, which they plan to convert into LATs (Large Air Tankers). Repaints by Nicholas Mitchell.

Hello Aviators! It has been a while since I've uploaded something. But this time I have something special for you all. In this file, you will find the texture file of the Danish Air Transport retro livery, which has been designed by both me and my friend Njord Zonneveld. So after doing the real one, I decided to paint it for the SGA MD80 model (not included). This download file contains the textures only! Derived from opensource, and provided here as freeware, the Le Mans Corvette Pace car is specifically built to meet the needs for an official pace car with a top speed in simulation of 140MPH. Its also great on the Curves in Lime Rock 4 FSX too !

Eagle field- 09PA Port Matilda PA Private Glider field Owned by Karl Striedieck. Karl is a world record setting glider pilot and a member of the U.S. Soaring Hall of Fame. He was an early pioneer of ridge soaring in the Ridge-and-valley Appalachians in the 1960s, ultimately setting nine world records flying gliders there. He was selected for the U.S. national soaring team 12 times, and won a silver medal in the world championships in 1978 and 1983. Mr. Striedieck was a U.S. Air Force pilot from 1959 to 1962, flying the F-86 Sabre and F-102 Delta Dagger, then continued his military service until 1981 in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, where he transitioned to the A-7 Corsair II. A year before graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 1965, he started flying gliders when he and Bill Clark co-founded the Nittany Soaring Club, flying out of the former State College Air Depot. He has over 15,000 flying hours, with nearly half of that total in gliders. Mr. Striedieck moved his home to the Eagle Field private airport on top of Bald Eagle Mountain, near State College, Pennsylvania in 1966, and now lives there with his second wife, Iris. Basically a manicured farm field, this private glider field offers access to the famous ridge lift of central Pennsylvania. Nearby Ridge Soaring is another one of my airfields available.

The fix adds a normal monitor panel option and includes a corrected panel.cfg file for the previously sent wide-monitor panel (it makes visible ADF gauge at mini-panel).

There are Nineteen (19) parts to download for GDEMv2 of Australia. ASTER GDEM Version 2 is a 30 metre definition DEM, its better than the version 1 data that ERSDAC, of Japan and NASA originally released, but it does have its limitations. GDEM has been obtained from a satellite that uses stereoscopic infrared scanning cameras, this brings with it problems in the resultant data.....where it sees the tops of trees, buildings etc, as the ground terrain. If you look at the jpg image with the terrain type errors shown as a graph, you will see that the only 'safe' terrain to use this data with - in FSX - is scrubland, or desert terrain. Its hopeless in defining the terrain in places like Europe - with all the artificial structures, (buildings) and different types of woodland, so any mesh I create from this data won't include areas like that....it will be more desert type terrain, and scrubland. I won't be doing Greenland because something about the ice around Greenland, (or any other land mass with ice) it creates false data. It does give enough fine data to reveal railway lines, and some roads though. This mesh has been made for FSX only. Textures for the MAAM sim DC-3. This is a Lisunov Li-2, the Russian (licence) version of DC-3. Manufactured from 1939 to 1953. HA-LIX used by the Hugarian Airlines - MALÉV (before Maszovlet), from 1946 to 1964. This is the only flyable representative on the world, locate in Hungary - Budaörs, work by Goldtimer Foundation.
