four branches of the US military have used the UH-1 at some
time as have about forty foreign nations. It has evolved through
thirteen models and was used in perhaps countless roles including
command and control, medical evacuation and transporting personnel,
equipment and supplies during its millions of hours of flight.

Zlin Z-526 first flew in 1965. Series production was in the years 1969 - 1974 and produced 172 pieces. Zlin Z-526 was exported to many countries around the world. In this version there was a change in fuel and oil installation, the aircraft was manufactured in two versions of Z-526F (with engine Avia M-137) and Z-526L (Lycoming engine). In August 1995 Air France's F-BTSD (Line number 213) beat Concorde's
around the world record (32hr 49min in 1992) by flying from
New York and back via Toulouse, Dubai, Bangkok, Guam, Honolulu
and Acapulco in the elapsed time of 31hr 27min at an average
speed of 969 knots (1,793km/h). On board were 48 winners of
US ber manufacturer Coors' Light Memorial Day Sweepstakes who
witnessed three sunstes and sunrises during the flight. This
aircraft, named "The Silver Bullet" carried the special livery
