P3Dv4+ CeraSim Bell 412 Fire/Rescue Expansion Model Pack
(Category: Prepar3d > Payware)
322.86Mb (39 downloads)
**This is NOT the Bell 212 and is NOT a duplicate upload!** Many thanks to the community that took part in this project and to CeraSim for allowing this project to takeoff! Similar to the Bell 212 expansion pack, this pack goes even farther into the expansion of firefighting and rescue options for the Bell 412 helicopter from CeraSim. This model expansion pack adds 13 additional model configurations to choose from. Numerous things were added to it including a complete overhaul externally for the addition of 4k textures, PBR, fire/rescue equipment loadouts, working rescue hoists, FLIR cameras, deployable snorkels, exterior lighting, new rotor droop and animation setup, As well as a complete set of custom liveries to represent operators that operate the platforms seen in these configurations. This is a component based expansion package. Meaning, it requires the original CeraSim Bell 412 product in order to allow these expansion models to work in your sim. As you have to use original files from it, to complete the install. Just like the Bell 212 expansion pack and others I have completed. This was done to protect their overall product. This does not include the entire aircraft. Like the 212, the changes were subtle and were made to work with most of these aircraft's stock paint mapping, so older repaints can be added to these new models as well as making new ones with your provided CeraSim paintkit that came with the original aircraft. Operator liveries included in this expansion pack are as follows: Wildcat Helicopters (Canadian & Australian operation liveries, Los Angeles County Fire, San Bernardino County Sheriff, Ventura County Sheriff, San Diego Fire Dept, San Diego County Sheriff, Orange County Fire Authority, New South Wales Rural Fire Service, Kestrel Aviation, and FAASA (Spain). This addon is specifically for P3Dv4 or newer versions of Prepar3d, it is NOT compatible with FSX.Original aircraft by Cera Simcraft, model additions/modifications by Nicholas Mitchell "Scorch00", repaints by Nicholas Mitchell "Scorch00" and SATO Community Member "Delta."

Fiat G.50 Series I Finland

Fiat G.50 Series I Finland
Unit: 1/LeLv26 Kilpasilta, Finland Mar 1943 (this aircraft had 5 victories with various pilots)
Pilot: L. Kalkkinen
The FIAT G.50 Freccia (Freccia means Arrow in English) was first flown in February 1937. The G.50 was Italy's first single-seat, all-metal monoplane with an enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear to go into production. Italian pilots disliked the sliding cockpit canopy, which was not easy to open quickly. So, in later production series, an open cockpit was adopted.
Fourteen G.50 were drawn from the first Series I production batch and shipped to Finland in January of 1940. They were assigned to LeLV 26, then stationed at Utti, but the unit was still in training when the so called Winter War with Russia ended with a peace treaty in March 1940. The enclosed cockpit canopies perspex began yellowing and fogging leading to the removal of the sliding canopies and painting over the fixed rear canopies.
Twenty one more G.50s were delivered during 1940 (two lost in transit), this time from the Series II version. Finland declared war on the Soviet Union on June 25, 1941 after the Russians bombed several Finland cities. With LeLv26, The G.50 saw its longest and most successful service in the two Finnish wars against the Soviet Union, the Winter War of 1939 1940 and the Continuation War of 1941 1944. Overall, LeLv 26 achieved 52 kills against only 2 losses in combat.

Gauges, as far as I know, credit goes to kelticheart, mvg3d, Chalachew, Beepee, and Gius for their WWII Italian gauges.
The panel, much modified, is based on an IL-2 panel.

Bf 109E-1_9.JG26

Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1
by Design Team Daedalus
Unit: 9./JG26 March 24 1940 St. Inglvert France
Pilot: Fw. Artur Beese
To improve on the performance afforded by the 690 hp Jumo 210 of the earlier Bf 109 versions, the larger, longer 1080 hp Daimler-Benz DB 601A engine was used. As a consequence, the nose, cooling system, and wings had to be redesigned resulting in the classic Bf 109 series. In late 1938, the Bf 109E entered production. It entered general service with the Luftwaffe in the spring of 1939. A total of 1,183 E-1 were built, 110 of them were E-1/B fighter bomber versions.
There were many small differences between individual E-1s because the E-1 was often modified in the field by groundcrew and rear area repair depots. The production standard was lightly armed with two 7.92mm MG17s above the engine and two in the wings and had no pilot armor. Mods included types of pilot head armor,E-4 type squared canopies, E-7 type pointed spinners, etc., but changing the wing MG17 armament required new different wings.
So each model we have created has its own unique features. This aircraft had a flat plate pilot head armor retrofitted.
By the time the later Bf 109E-4 and Bf 109E-7 marks were equipping the Jagdgeschwaders a program was initiated to withdraw and remanufacture the surviving E-1s to either full E-4 or E-7 standard.
Pstrany is the primary model author with some small model refinement and additions by Captain Kurt as the model was collaborated on during development. Captain Kurt created the textures for each, the 2D instrument panel, the individual .dp files, air files and aircraft.cfg files.
