Its not great, but not totally pukeworthy either...Its a beta version as development is on going... Six of the 1942 design Light Fleet hulls were originally to be completed as Colossus-class ships, but the rapid development of carrier-based aircraft required modifications to the original design. The catapult, arrestor cables, and aircraft elevators had to be upgraded to handle faster and heavier aircraft, while the flight deck was reinforced. The ship was built to Admiralty rather than merchantile standards , with warship scale water tight compartmentalization , torpedo protection scheme, armoured magazines and separate staggered boiler and machinery spaces. The modifications increased the full-load displacement by 1,500 tons, and the draught by 1 foot 6 inches (0.46 m). This led to the six ships being reclassified as the Majestic class in September 1945. Five carriers were launched before the end of World War II, with the sixth launched in late September 1945. Only Magnificent and Terrible were completed as designed; an axial deck light Fleet Carrier(CVL) outwardly identical to the preceding Colossus class CVL. The remaining ships were rebuilt to RAN,RCN and MLD naval specifications with the revolutionary Admiralty designed Angled Deck, steam catapult and mirror Landing Sight (the 'Meatball', or 'Ball'). Its a generic Majestic as builds of the individual ships; all quite different in appearance, continues as time and interest permits. I figured I may as well put the latest version out, as its not too gawd-awful, and it would be a shame to waste Jens-Ole's beautiful Bonnie and Mellie deck textures. While the size/scale and general outline is accurate enough for government work, rivet counters will continue to be outraged. The Aeromarine 39 was an American two-seat training seaplane ordered by the US Navy in 1917 and built by the Aeromarine Plane and Motor Company of Keyport, New Jersey. Of conventional biplane configuration and construction, the aircraft was designed so that its pontoons could be speedily detached and replaced with wheeled undercarriage for shore operations. Fifty of the original design (later referred to as the 39A) were produced, featuring twin floats and powered by a Hall-Scott A-7 engine. These engines suffered from reliability problems and were prone to catch fire while in operation. A redesign followed, whit a more reliable and secure powerplant (the Curtiss OXX-6 of 102 HP), and an increasing of the wingspan to create more lift for water take-offs. This became known as the 39B. One of the 150 39B built (serial A-606) earned a place in history when on October 26, 1922 piloted by Gofrey DeCourcelles Chevalier make the first landing on the deck of a ship, the first American aircraft carrier of the U.S navy, the USS Langley. The plane not specially built for carrier operation and equipped whit early hook harness equipment proved to be very unpredicable when hooked by the wire on the deck of the ship and suffered a lot of accident, (later some was equipped whit a skid in front of the wheel to prevent the problem). Trials of underway carrier takeoffs and landings continued through 1922 and 1923. FS2004 CF 105Arrow Update2. Description: This is a second update, for the CF-105 Arrow by Mike Stone (here). I found some problems with my first update. This one corrects the problem of overspeed at low altitude so it will only overspeed in a dive at low altitude, while still achieving mach 2.9 at 37,000 ft. I fixed the trim so it is easier to manually trim the plane, and also fixed the elevator so the plane doesn't overstress so easy. This has all the updates of the first one, therefore this one is all you need. Bob Chicilo. 84K
