FS2004 USS Stennis CV-74 This is Phil Crowther's Nimitz .fsc converted in format so it could be compiled in the FS2004 scenery object format. It has a hardened deck surface so you can land and take off with any plane equipped with the RCBCO-20 gauges. A ship wake effect has been added. It is located just off the San Diego, Ca. Naval Station. The necessary XML and .MDL file are included so it can be moved to other locations with BGLcomp. FSX Lockheed Super Constellation Update. This is my second update for FSX of the Lockheed Super Constellation by Mike Stone (required here). There is also a turbine engine option so you can have reverse thrust. This time I corrected a few lights' positions, changed the view angle, and changed 4 gauges to default gauges so all the gauges will be there for everyone. Its not great, but not totally pukeworthy either...Its a beta version as development is on going... Six of the 1942 design Light Fleet hulls were originally to be completed as Colossus-class ships, but the rapid development of carrier-based aircraft required modifications to the original design. The catapult, arrestor cables, and aircraft elevators had to be upgraded to handle faster and heavier aircraft, while the flight deck was reinforced. The ship was built to Admiralty rather than merchantile standards , with warship scale water tight compartmentalization , torpedo protection scheme, armoured magazines and separate staggered boiler and machinery spaces. The modifications increased the full-load displacement by 1,500 tons, and the draught by 1 foot 6 inches (0.46 m). This led to the six ships being reclassified as the Majestic class in September 1945. Five carriers were launched before the end of World War II, with the sixth launched in late September 1945. Only Magnificent and Terrible were completed as designed; an axial deck light Fleet Carrier(CVL) outwardly identical to the preceding Colossus class CVL. The remaining ships were rebuilt to RAN,RCN and MLD naval specifications with the revolutionary Admiralty designed Angled Deck, steam catapult and mirror Landing Sight (the 'Meatball', or 'Ball'). Its a generic Majestic as builds of the individual ships; all quite different in appearance, continues as time and interest permits. I figured I may as well put the latest version out, as its not too gawd-awful, and it would be a shame to waste Jens-Ole's beautiful Bonnie and Mellie deck textures. While the size/scale and general outline is accurate enough for government work, rivet counters will continue to be outraged. I updated Vladimir Zhyhulskiy's FS 2002 - Helicopter Mi-6. Heavy soviet transport helicopter. I added the zibom MI-6 2D panel that I replaced the gauges with Zhyhulskiy's An-12Bk and An-26 gauges. I also replaced the sound with Kazunori Ito's MI-12 Homer sound set. No VC panel.

F2004 Secret Air Base Package. This is a very large secret air base that doesn't exist. I had to invent everything in it: the runways, the dry lake, most of the buildings, the fuel tank farm, satellite communication dishes, etc. Because it doesn't exist and it is all a product of everybody's imagination, I had to take some creative liberties as to what the buildings look like, what kind of traffic flies in and out of it, and what people you might see around the patch. You can, however, search around the Net for satellite images of the area and maybe you'll find something in the same location. My base has avgas and jet fuel, ILS, NDB and VOR, etc., it shows in the Map and GPS. Frequencies, names, etc., are my invention. I had a lot of fun doing it. Hope you might have some fun flying around it, and even going farther into, say, New Mexico, or following some of the traffic going south quite frequently. The scenery includes a crashed unidentified aircraft at the most probable lat and long I could find on the Net. It is a bit heavy on the frame rate, but the size of the zip file is due to the addon aircraft, not the scenery. I tried to name all objects with clear, identifyable names, so you can delete anything you don't like. By Fern Marques. 18.2MB
