Back in 2004, Manuel Amorim ("McDope"), one of the original add-on providers for Orbiter, released a package for use with Orbiter 031217. This package was for simulations of the Skylab program from 1973. While better meshes and models are available today, these models provide excellent frame rates and are still useful for simulations of past missions using historically accurate state vectors. I decided to update these models for use with Orbiter 2010 since the originals no longer work under the new Orbiter. Additionally, these models will provide for alternate history simulations with the Shuttle Fleet V4.8. I have added the UMMu capability to the Apollo, Skylab, and a docking module that will allow for shuttle missions and have created attachments for navigation / rendezvous and spot lights using historical documentation of the location of these lights. Finally, I have created the necessary docking port to allow for the attachment of the CMG V2.0 by "poscik" and the CMGmesh V1.0 by "c3po" for attitude control. Using the state vectors, I have provided historically accurate launch scenarios and undocking scenarios for use. One of the motion pictures that helped foster my love of spaceflight in my youth was the classic "Marooned" from 1969. Before there even was a Skylab, the crew of Ironman One spent months in an orbiting laboratory. In the movie, a Saturn V launched the lab, but I have created a "wet" workshop that can be launched by the Saturn-IB for this addon just for fun. Upon docking, switch to the workshop and deploy the solar arrays using "CTRL+K". This workshop can also accommodate the CMG add-on for attitude control. I hope you enjoy these "legacy" add-ons from the past of Orbiter as well as the enhancements I have created for them.

Cuenca Scenery 2009 for FSX, FS2004, FS2002. After many years in development and few months in construction, the "Corporacion Aeroportuaria de Cuenca" has made de additions to the "Mariscal Lamar" Airport in Cuenca. The passengers terminal now can serve around 300 passengers simultaneously; a new building in aluminium and glass design, a panoramic view of the runway and new security services has been added. FSX panel with sensational features for the German WW2 U-Boat from Bruce Fitzgerald (1uboat.zip). The first pimp up for a submarine; almost an U-boat simulation itself. Special features: Through the operational Periscope the diving and the submerging can be watched. From the attack periscope a torpedo, with a delayed explosion effect, can be launched. Both periscopes can be rotated for 360 deg, has zoom functions and can be raised and lowered. The gunner can rotate the gun and alter the elevation up- and downwards. Panel graphics: Forward view from the tower, deck views to the front and to the rear, gunner view, the central and the torpedo tubes inside of the boat. Sound buttons from R.L. Clark allows to turn on 10 more original submarine sounds: Rough sea, hatch, merging, diving, submerging, sonar-pings, torpedo launch, attacked by depth charges and cannon shot, (Film soundtrack optional). Due to the copyrights, the sounds are not included but they can all easyly downloaded at uboataces.com. Effects for cannon shots, torpedo attacks and the attack by depth charges - watch it under water :-) - and a handbook with pictures are included. FS2002/FS2004 McDonnell XP-67. The XP-67 was twin-engine interceptor that had a somewhat revolutionary design by McDonnell Aircraft. When viewed from above the aircraft had an unusual profile, in that the engine nacelles and fuselage were shaped to provide true aerofoil sections throughout. The exhaust gases from the turbo-supercharged Continental engines were used as a jet-assist to increase performance. however, the rated horsepower of the "Hyper" engines was not achieved and the aircraft fell short of performance estimates. Performance proved to be far from satisfactory, and modifications were made to improve certain stability problems. The aircraft was destroyed in a fire on 6 September 1944 and the project was canceled before the second aircraft was built. by Kazunori Ito. 1.9MB
