FS2002/FS2004 McDonnell XP-67. The XP-67 was twin-engine interceptor that had a somewhat revolutionary design by McDonnell Aircraft. When viewed from above the aircraft had an unusual profile, in that the engine nacelles and fuselage were shaped to provide true aerofoil sections throughout. The exhaust gases from the turbo-supercharged Continental engines were used as a jet-assist to increase performance. however, the rated horsepower of the "Hyper" engines was not achieved and the aircraft fell short of performance estimates. Performance proved to be far from satisfactory, and modifications were made to improve certain stability problems. The aircraft was destroyed in a fire on 6 September 1944 and the project was canceled before the second aircraft was built. by Kazunori Ito. 1.9MB

Sikorsky SH/CH-34/HUS (S-58) FS9 Model: Willy Vernikie FSX native conv, misc stuff by:Y.T. Alphasim S-55 VC merge installed. Great flier, though the cfg is not really for a S-58, I didn't want to screw with it. Excellent slinging model, saved slinging flight provided, and a AI carriers set of slingload objects.

Detailed and realistically depicted scenery of Trabzon (LTCG) Airport in the eastern Black Sea region of Turkey, for FSX (SP2). Created mainly by FSDS 3.5.1, the scenery includes many accurate and detailed airport buildings including the new domestic terminal, afd file, various objects, detailed surroundings and some photo real terrain textures.

FSX Alf's UK Airfields - Volume 2 - This Volume consists of: EGTD Dunsfold, EGET Lerwick/Tingwall, EGNF Netherthorpe. Although FSX scenery is a great improvement on FS2004, there are still many small airfields in the UK with little or no details. I have tried to improve this in a small way. I do not have any direct knowledge, or indeed any useful photos of these airfields so do not aim to make them accurate, only better. They were compiled using aerial views from Google Earth, Pooleys UK Flight Guide, FSX SDK Object Placement Tool and AFX v1.04 running under Vista (not recommended by Flight1). The main problem seemed to be in compiling 'excludes'. In some cases I made seperate exclude files and with perseverence it worked with me. I hope it works in your set-up. Alf Denham. 783K
