The 221A Monomail was a major advance in aircraft design, being one of the first all metal, stressed skin monoplanes built. Despite it's advances the 221A'a layout harked back to the biplane era, with the cabin forward, and open cockpit aft. Lack of a constant speed propeller prevented the Monomail's true success, as better twins were introduced by the time C-S props appeared. Only one 221A saw brief service between Chicago-Cheyenne. This is an FSX update of the great FS9 model by Tim Conrad. The package features an entirely reworked VC and cockpit interior as well as a newly configured 2D panel matching the VC in every respect. New smoke effect and new camera views have been added as well. Thanks to Tim Conrad for the original model and to Dale Caruso for his repaint. FSX Embraer 145LU Crossair Package. Embraer 145LU Crossair HB-JAM. Cossair was a Swiss regional airline headquartered on the grounds of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin, France, near Basel, Switzerland. It became Swiss International Air Lines after taking over most of the assets of Swissair following that airline's bankruptcy in 2002. Model by Project Opensky with VC. Edited to add missing gauges and added Honeywell FMC (Instrument panel - Views). High quality model with opening doors and stairs. All credit to the fantastic talents of the Project opensky team. This is an update for FSX/FS9 of the T-33A by Tim Conrad. This was one of the first aircraft I updated and I don't know why I have not yet updated it for FSX. I have added an autopilot gauge; changed the size of the GPS; added an autopilot icon and moved the GPS icon; the contact points have all been redone as well as the flight dynamics. I changed 3 gauges that did not work in FSX for ones that are default in both FSX and FS9. I fixed the holes that were in the 2D panel by the bottom of the rivets. The holes showed in FSX, I don't think they showed in FS9. This is the whole aircraft. There is a working VC.

FSX Douglas VC-118-DO 'The Independence'Textures only. This Douglas VC-118-DO was the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B.
