Under the hood of the latest Harrier is a revolutionary new system called vectored-thrust aircraft advanced flight control (VAAC). Designed by QinetiQ's predecessor, DERA, with funding from the US-UK Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Office, VAAC uses advanced "fly by wire" technology to turn over many of the Harrier's flight characteristics to computers. This makes the aircraft much simpler to fly and enables engineers to fine-tune it quickly for improved handling, based on pilot feedback between sorties. This is an update for FS9 and FSX of the Robin HR200 by Mike Stone. I have updated the flight dynamics, added, deleted or changed gauges on the panel so it would work in both sims, changed the size of the GPS and eliminated the need for the background picture for same. Default repaint (textures only) of the Acceleration F-18. This scheme is based upon the experimental finish devised by aviation artist Keith Ferris in the late 70's and designed to break up the outlines of an aircraft using different shades of grays in a hard edged splinter style. CFS2/FS2002/FS2004 Ryan FR-1 Fireball Service variant of the Fireball. This model has full squadron paint scheme and warload for CFS2. The aircraft was a mixed power twin engine radial/jet fighter bomber but came along as jet only aircraft were finding favour within the US military. WWII was almost over by the time it entered service. 100 planes became operational with the US Navy. They flew operationaly on board VS-21. Original model by Ian Lawrence.
