FS2004 Project Airbus A320-232 United Airlines NC, registration N420UA. United Airlines has long been my favorite airline and the A320 one of my favorite fly-by-wire commercial aircraft. So it goes then without saying that it gives me great pride to present this Project Airbus A320-232, registration N420UA, in United Airlines new colors. This is one of UAL's first A320's and was the 2nd in the A320 fleet to be painted in the New Colors livery you see here. It was delivered to United from Airbus in July of 1994. This aircraft was a joy to paint thanks to the paintkit from Project Airbus. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible; I hope I did not fail any of you. FSX Taylor J-2 Cub. The Taylor J-2 Cub was the predecessor of the famous Piper J-3 Cub. It was equipped with a 37hp Continental A-40 engine. I made this plane by using the default Piper Cub, changing the texture (i saw this neonyellow texture on a real Cub once) and changing the engine/weight/fuel attributes. The plane is slower than the Piper Cub and should be a challenge to fly in bad weather (just like the default Cub). I also changed the pilots face a bit (younger), gave it a correctly coloured 2D panel and as the plane has less power than the cub i made it a tiny bit less agile. Beware, the plane is nose-heavy, you have to trim it accordingly. Oh and i gave the window reflections in the 3D cockpit the right colour, too. FS2004/FSX Curtiss Hawk 75N The Curtiss P-36 Hawk, also known as the Curtiss Hawk Model 75, was an American designed and built fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 40s. A contemporary of the much superior Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft, a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine.
