Wilkins Runway (Antarctica)

The Wilkins Runway is located approximately 70km south-east of Casey Polar Base and serves as the Antarctic terminal for the intercontinental air service. It is a E-W runway with a papy 4 glide visual indicator.
Fly from Hobart International Airport to Wilkins Runway in Airbus A319-115LR, operated by Skytraders for the Australian Antarctic Division with the PLN joined, and enjoy !

Although there were wartime conversions of the Spitfire into a two-seat trainer including the one-off modification of a Mk VC by RAF no. 261 Squadron and a Mk IX converted for use as a trainer by the Soviets, the two-seat Spitfire trainer was primarily a postwar program. In 1946, a MK VIII (MT818) was the first Vickers-built trainer built as a demonstrator. A.F. Scrub

This panel, based on orignal aircraft by Henry Tomkiewicz, D.E. Waldron and Michael Verlin, is especially
made for wide screen in high definition : 16/9 - 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Butterworth AFB, Malaysia scenery v.1,
- WMKB Butterworth Airforce Base is a military airbase located
on the western coast of Peninsula Malaysia. It is the main base
for the Royal Malaysian Air Force's (TUDM) F18 Hornets and F5
Tigers. This is a fictional depiction of an actual airbase in
Malaysia. WMKB is unuseable and dormant in the default FS2K2
scenery. So this scenery, created using FSSC, makes WMKB functional
and active with ILS enabled. The whole scenery is framerate
friendly and looks great at night with pulsating approach lights.
PLUS- AFCAD files provided for WSAP, WSAT, WMKB, WMKD and WMSA.
Up and coming: other sceneries of airbases in southeast asia.

Without a doubt, the Messerschmitt Bf 109 was Germany's most important, and most numerous, fighter of World War II. With more than 30,000 of all variants produced, it is easily the most numerous of any fighter type of the war. First flown in 1935 as the Bf 109a, this arch-enemy of Great Britain was fitted with, of all things, a Rolls-Royce engine. It did not meet with instantaneous enthusiasm from pilots used to open cockpits, two wings, and great low-speed agility such as the biplanes of World War I.
