FS2004 Khe Sanh Combat Base, Vietnam. The site of one of the most famous battles of the Vietnam War. Khe Sanh was originally an obscure Army Special Forces camp perched atop a small plateau in the extreme northwestern corner of South Vietnam near the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Later, 6,000 US Marines of the 13th and 26th regiments, and the 37th ARVN Ranger Batallion were deployed there. In early 1968, Khe Sanh suddenly emerged from obscurity and became front page news all over the world when it was besieged for 75 days by a force of approximately 40,000 North Vietnamese troops. The application of massive US airpower, including B-52 strikes, eventually forced the enemy to withdraw. The model represents Khe Sanh as it was in late 1967, just prior to the start of the siege. (During the siege, virtually everything above ground, including the runway, was destroyed by intense artillery, rocket, and mortar fire. At that time, the base looked more like a prairie dog town or the cratered surface of the moon.) This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles. 824K

This updates Sonoma County Airport for FSX. Taxiways, runways, and other aspects were updated using real satellite images from Google Earth for accuracy. This airport is home to some CDF Fire Tankers, and the taxiways leading up to their facility have been accuratly depicted in this release. Default objects from the FSX scenery libraries were used. The ARX-5R (Concept 5) is a custom built single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft based on the V8-powered ARX-5X (ARX5v21_jt-1.zip). The R Model was made specifically for Austin Gardner's Firestorm Airshows, one of the longest running online solo demo's. Like it's ARX-5 stablemates, the R model can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles. The ARX-5R has wings, tail, and gear struts from the ARX-5T Turbo Coyote, and is thus slightly faster than the original Model X. It is therefore the fastest piston-driven ARX-5 available. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Flight Systems EAU(engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller. I've used Pavel Karasek's update of the Yak 11 and repainted it using 50% photoreal textures and added lots more detail. comes with a great sounds especially with the sound up high, great VC ,a joy to fly. repainted by Stephen Browning

The Wilkins Runway is located approximately 70km south-east of Casey Polar Base and serves as the Antarctic terminal for the intercontinental air service. It is a E-W runway with a papy 4 glide visual indicator.
