FS2004 Pre War USS Saratoga (CV-3) This FSDS - GMAX project has a hardened deck suitable for take-offs and landings. It is located just outside Pearl Harbor. It is in the true FS2004 scenery object format and the necessary XML and .mdl file are included so it can be easily relocated with entry of coordinates and heading and compiled with BGLCOMP. FS2004 Cessna 185 Update. This file is an update to the CFG file of the Cessna 185 by J. R. LUCARINY (here). This update modifies the contact points of the main gear and tail wheel. Now the wheels are set at ground level instead of slightly underneath the ground as seen on the original aircraft. Also engine horsepower increased to 350hp and stall speed with flaps down is decreased to 45 knots. This may not sound like a realistic modification (and it isnt) but hey, its flightsim, so whatever. The plane now lifts off the ground at a more reasonable distance, just adjust the prop to 2400rpm at 500ft. no manifold pressure limit so go wide open until you run out of gas!. I use a Cessna 206 sound set but you can alias the default mooney sounds for a more realistic sound. Have fun with the Cessna 185. 184K

FSX openVFR The Netherlands POI (points of interest). openVFR is a free scenery for FSX based on data taken from OpenStreetMap (OSM). The goal of this project is to enhance the world in MS Flight Simulator and bring a completely new level of realism to VFR pilots, who mainly navigate visually. As the standard scenery doesn't fulfil their needs this project has taken a lot of different information from the open streetmap project, including land use information, leisure information, natural information, railways, roads, waterways and point of interests (POI). Zero-G opererates both tourist and research flights and currently operate 1 Boeing 727-200 freigher aircraft. Model and VC by Thomas Ruth with enhancements by Luis Quintero including Garret Smith's FMC. The VC includes working wipers, Honeywell FMC and more. See Panel manual for more info. FSX-SP2 compatible update of Dee Waldron's FS9 Boeing 247D. Includes a passenger version, a fictional freight version, and a military C-73 version, in 5 liveries and also including blank white flyable passenger and freight models for those who like to paint. With FSX-SP2 compatible props, smoke, thumbnails, and landing gear contact points. Uses the default DC-3 sound and 2D panel and gauges. Includes the original rudimentary VC (with no gauges, as they will not show up in FSX... sorry).
