FS2002 Piper Arrow-III, non-turbo. N1927H is an aircraft of Ben Weltevrede, a member of the Rotterdam Flying Club in the Netherlands. It has an American registration, but is home based at Rotterdam Airport. This new model, in part derived from Warrior4.zip, was made using the present possibilities of FSDS v.2.11, and includes a virtual cockpit, moving landing gear, doors, yokes, pedals and pilot. The VC is the Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND fantastic Boeing 737-800 VC cockpit blended with Ken Wiggington's revisions for the default B737 VC to make it more resemble a 787. FSX/P3D 3/4 Native McDonnell Douglas MD-90 Reno Air package. Starting in 1992, Reno Air operated out of Reno, Nevada and had a fleet of 5 MD-90 aircraft. Reno Air was merged into American Airlines in 1999. This is the native FSX McDonnell Douglas MD-90 converted by Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations of the Eric Cantu/SGA original. For FS2004 and FSX: The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This open cockpit version was also adopted for 'lead in' training, by the Croatian Air Force, and eventually the Luftwaffe, and by the A.N.R. for assault glider pilot training. Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2. Full details are in the suppled contextual history. This release (Part 1) provides two open cockpit MDLs, with different landing gear, many relevant liveries, a combined contextual history of both the open and closed cabin versions, and an illustrated Student Training Manual to allow realistic simulation of the wartime Axis 'lead in' training syllabus. The Part 2 of this release will later feature the enclosed cabin version.
