The US-101 is being marketed as a next generation replacement Medium Lift Helicopter. It would replace the aging Ch-46/Ch-47, and possibly the CH-53. The US-101 is also being marketed towards the US Coast Guard for use in the Deepwater Program, a major modernization of the US Coast Guard fleet.
