FS98/CFS Cessna 208 Grand Caravan. Represents Cessna 208 Grand Caravan in two chilean markings. CC-CTR Patagonia Airlines, flown by Nelson Bahamonde, and E-132 Ejercito de Chile - Chilean Army. The history of the CC-CTR of Patagonia Airlines, it is at the same time, a tragedy and heroism history. On June 7, 2008, this plane, piloted by Nelson Bahamonde, crashed in the Aysen region. Thanks to the know-how of the pilot, the plane achieved to land with relative smoothness, deadening the impact with the tree's branches cover with snow. The nine passengers saved unscathed but the pilot died days after due to a head-injuries and internal injuries. While was with life, organized to the passengers so that they could survive. Nelson Bahamondes died on June 9, and the rescue arrived on June 11, when the survivors only had grass and roots to eat, and snow to drink.
