FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 Package Curtiss B-36 bomber with parasite fighter McDonnell XF-85 Goblin. This package honours Kazunori Ito's great work and the incredible US concept of equipping a long range bomber with a tiny inceptor within the bombbay. The fighter, hanging on a trapez, was swang out from the bombay and after it was released it should defend the bomber far from the home base. After the fight it was proposed that the fighter returns to the bomber, connecting its hook onto the trapez. This concept was successfully tested with a B-29 but was never done with a B-36. The package contains three models: A) Kazunori Ito's original B-36 with a static XF-85 within the bombbay with animated gun turrets and bombbay. B) Erwin Welker's reworked model of Ito's B-36 with the animation of the XF-85 coming out from the bombbay and flying away. This version is just for flying because of avoiding exceeding the vertices limit of the simulator inside parts of the B-36 (gear,gun turrets and crew) are removed. This version has a VC. FSX/FS2004 Galleon NEPTUNE from the 17th century. This sailing ship is a replic for Roman Polanski's movie "Pirates" with Walter Matthau as pirats captain. On my model I have replaced the oversized figurehead "Neptune" with a scary reaper. The boat is almost complete rigged with hundreds of ropes regarding the early 17th century. Forteen cannons and two Jolly Roger flags are animated. Twentyeight cameras let you explore the whole ship: The deck, below the decks and you can enjoy the sailors views from high above in the masts. FS2004/FSX Nakajima E8N1 floatplane The Nakajima was basically an updated version of the E4N2. Of similar biplane configuration, with a central float and underwing stabilising floats, it was powered by a 433kW Kotobuki 2 KAI 1 radial engine. Used successfully, during the Sino-Japanese War in roles which included artillery spotting and dive-bombing as well as reconnaissance, some were still operating from navy vessels at the beginning of the Pacific war, gaining the Allied codename 'Dave'. They were soon diverted to secondline duties such as communications, liaison and training.Gmax mdl by A.F.Scrub

FS2004 Bella Coola Valley Terrain Mesh and Scenery Enhancements One of the most spectacular watersheds of British Columbia's Midcoast, the Bella Coola Valley looks pretty boring in its default FS rendition. These files provide a LOD10 (38-m) mesh made from CDED1 0.75-arcsec data, a new landclass file, and accurate placements of lakes, rivers, streams, and roads. Also includes the glaciers of the Monarch Mt. Icefield and several forestry roads and clearcuts along the side valleys. Made with Ground2K4 based on Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite imagery.
