This tool fixes the stutters and slow texture loading caused by dxt3 and dxt5 textures that are missing an active alpha channel. The bug occurs when developers use Imagetool to convert a 32bit bitmap files with a 100% opaque (white) alpha channel to DXT3 or DXT5. This causes stuttering in FS2004 (FS9). It's not as big of a problem in FSX/P3D as they mainly use DDS compression, but it's still good practice to use DXTFixerX here as well, as 3rd party addons might have these faulty textures anyway. This tool simply and quickly scans your installation and fixes any faulty textures. You can also scan for errors without making any changes to any files. FSX DeHavilland Vampire FB5 SAAF - Package

Contained in this stand-alone package is a Vampire of the South African Air Force circa 1971. It also sports 'seemingly' transparent engine covers that allows one to see the jetintakes, these are automatically added on engine shut-down. I decided to create this set of revised textures as I realized the lack of such a specimen for use with FSX. It also portrays really nice in a sunlit blue sky. I trust that you'll enjoy flying it as much as I do.

Cam Ranh Bay Airbase, Vietnam, Late 60's Scenery. A model
of Cam Ranh Bay Airbase as it appeared in the late 1960s at
the height of the Vietnam War. Cam Ranh Bay was the site of
both a USAF airbase and a major deep water port facility. It
was the home of the 483rd Tactical Airlift Wing and the 12th
Tactical Fighter Wing (until 1970). This scenery was designed
for FS 2002 but should also work with FS 2004. However, due
to changes in the FS 2004 coastline contours, it may not align

B-17 Flying Fortress Nine-0-Nine Memorial Download

In memory of the fatal crash of Nine-0-Nine I repainted the B-17 giving FULL credit to the aircraft designer/creator. Model by Alphasim.
I added a black stripe on the right wing next to the "A" logo, includes stripe under wing as well.
I also added a memorial with 7 lit candles on the right side front fuselage representing the 7 lives lost on that horrific day, includes the date.
RIP 9-0-9 and thank you for serving our country for so many years. May all rest in eternal peace
