The Bernard HV120 was built for entry in the 1929 Schneider
Cup Race. Lengthy delays in engine development prevented participation.
It first flew in March, 1930. This aircraft is part of the Virtual
Schneider Project by Transglobal Aircraft. FSDS Model by Ralph

First appearing in 1947, the AN-2's was first dismissed as obsolete, due to it's biplane layout and homely looks. But the "Annushka" would prove the naysayers wrong.... and how! The biplane layout proved itself, and there wasn't much the AN-2 couldn't do, whether as a passenger, cargo, parachuting, crop spraying, or spec ops plane. The ARJ21 regional jet is being developed by the AVIC I Commercial Aircraft Company (ACAC), based in Shanghai, which is a consortium of six companies and aerospace research institutes carrying out the development and manufacture of the aircraft. The aircraft performance parameters meet the diverse and demanding conditions in China, including the hot and high altitude conditions in Western China.
