FS2004 SIG Komander - Radio-controlled SIG Komander model aircraft. It was created with FSDS V2.2 for the FS2004. The Komander is not available anymore as a model aeroplane, but it was a popular model in its time. It has the long main landing gear on the wings, unique characteristic of shoulder wing aircraft. This model was made from 3-view drawings by Andre Dupuis, and model by David Pearce. 210K

FS2004 Nazca Land Drawings, Peru, must be seen from the air. The site is located in a desert about 20 miles north-west of the Nazca airport, and it contains some 25 large-size figures, drawn on the ground many hundreds of years ago. From what I read, it is uncertain who made the lines, and no one knows why. Mistical theories abound, including that astronauts were somehow involved in the drawings. Fern Marques. 149K

FS2004, Maupiti airport, French Polynesia.....NTTP This is a whole new Maupiti. It contains the terminal, tower, helipad, boat docking area to get to the main island, and an afcad by Ray Smith, which makes the airport come alive at night with runway lighting, and blue marker lights around the tarmac. This island is often referred to as a mini version of Bora Bora, and it is just a short hop from there. It is the smallest airport in the Society Islands, and one of the smaller islands also. The airport is also located out on one of the motus, or coral reefs surrounding the island, and as with Bora Bora it is necessary to take a boat from the airport to the main island. 2 'what if' repaints for the XF-11 Redux package. A 1946 RAF requirement for a long range, high altitude strategic recconiassance aeroplane to supplant war-weary Mosquito's, resulted in a small number of R-11A's being taken on charge, as Athena PR.Mk.I, and Mk.IA's with special electronic equipment, pending introduction of the Canberra. With a pressurized cockpit, service ceiling in excess of 49,000 ft, 4000 miles+ range, and a 400kt groundspeed at altitude,the 20 or so Athena's roamed at will across the Iron Curtain, providing targeting data,weather,ELINT and strike route information for RAF Strike Command, and remained in RAF service untill 1958. 2 aeroplanes are depicted in standard dinural and nocturnal schemes of the day. Not without precident, as a small number of RB-45C's were bailed to the RAF for clandestine overflights of the East Bloc in the early'50's. Also includes 2 revised Config.files, adding landing light,beacon,strobes and position light, one standard FS lights, and one for ShockWave payware lights.Contrails added at -29 F, airshow smoke moved to position on #2 engine exhaust, red VC lighting, exhaust flame effect (on cockpit light key- CTRL-L) and start-up effect. FSX Turkey Eskisehir Inonu Airfield Scenery. VFR scenery of Turkey Eskisehir Inonu Airfield and surroundings for FSX (SP2). Inonu Airfield, also known as Turkish Aeronautical Association Inonu Training Center is the main glider training center of Turkey. FSX/Acceleration/FS2004 Package Curtiss B-36 bomber with parasite fighter McDonnell XF-85 Goblin. This package honours Kazunori Ito's great work and the incredible US concept of equipping a long range bomber with a tiny inceptor within the bombbay. The fighter, hanging on a trapez, was swang out from the bombay and after it was released it should defend the bomber far from the home base. After the fight it was proposed that the fighter returns to the bomber, connecting its hook onto the trapez. This concept was successfully tested with a B-29 but was never done with a B-36. The package contains three models: A) Kazunori Ito's original B-36 with a static XF-85 within the bombbay with animated gun turrets and bombbay. B) Erwin Welker's reworked model of Ito's B-36 with the animation of the XF-85 coming out from the bombbay and flying away. This version is just for flying because of avoiding exceeding the vertices limit of the simulator inside parts of the B-36 (gear,gun turrets and crew) are removed. This version has a VC. C)Kazunori Ito's XF-85, upgradet for FSX by Michael Pook. All original models are made by Kazunori Ito, model rework of the B-36 with the XF-85 animations and all camera definitions by Erwin Welker, all panel rework with FSX-compatible gauges by Michael Pook.
