FS98/CFS Cessna 208 Grand Caravan. Represents Cessna 208 Grand Caravan in two chilean markings. CC-CTR Patagonia Airlines, flown by Nelson Bahamonde, and E-132 Ejercito de Chile - Chilean Army. The history of the CC-CTR of Patagonia Airlines, it is at the same time, a tragedy and heroism history. On June 7, 2008, this plane, piloted by Nelson Bahamonde, crashed in the Aysen region. Thanks to the know-how of the pilot, the plane achieved to land with relative smoothness, deadening the impact with the tree's branches cover with snow. The nine passengers saved unscathed but the pilot died days after due to a head-injuries and internal injuries. While was with life, organized to the passengers so that they could survive. Nelson Bahamondes died on June 9, and the rescue arrived on June 11, when the survivors only had grass and roots to eat, and snow to drink. Background Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 uses Bing's satellite map. However, the satellite map is relatively old, and many areas are not directly equipped with map settings a few years ago. This phenomenon occurs in different regions of the world. The map on the mainland is even 10 years ago. There are a large number of regions where satellite images are not available. Microsoft uses the program-generated map instead, and the quality is very poor. Another "what if" concept for the brilliant Golden Age Simulations WACO ATO Taperwing. It's cooked of the real WACO ATO registration and serial numbers (NC8576 and A-85, real story unknown), fictional livery and a a Wright R-975-E-1 Whirlpool engine simulation. With its 365 hp and IFR capabitity the plane is a good staff for air racing and traveling. To make the plane operations more realistic the aircraft file was edited to provide the engine with supercharging capability (as the real R-975 has) which makes you follow operating limits not to loose the engine. Apart the original model and basic texture the package also includes a brand new VC panel. The used sound is a default FS9 Trimotor sound pack. The Attacker-Ruler class lend-lease escort carriers comprised the largest class of aircraft carriers operated by the Royal Navy; some 30+ ships. the Grumman Martlet/Wildcat covered itself in glory in FAA service, a history that is almost ignored in the FS universe. This is a gestalt entity project, the first historicaly accurate project undertaken by the Retro Carriers Group. The ships represented are HMS Trumpeter, HMS Searcher(SEA), HMCS Puncher, HMS Attacker, the aircraft are MartletII/WilcatV's from 1941-45, representing 802,846, 881 and 882 NAS Fleet Air Arm.
