A medium tactical airlifter developed from the Avro 748, the Avro 780 Andover flew in 1965, with service entry in 1966 under the Hawker-Siddeley banner. Featuring a beefier airframe with a wider wing center section, upswept fuselage and revised tail, hotter engines, bigger props and a kneeling undercarriage, 31 machines in three marques followed for the RAF and RNZAF. FS2004 Airbus A320-233 Bangkok Air, registration HS-PGV. A fully handpainted recreation of Bangkok Air's "Krabi" color scheme. All the special markings like fishes, crabs, boats and diver on this plane are handpainted. The patched up fuselage, wear, tear and dirt is all custome made, while special credit goes out to John Tavendale's night/light textures. The wing textures are made by Karen Romalta / Mcphatstudios. These textures are for the Project Airbus A320 version 2, and include the actual plane, which contains an accurate model with details such as opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operable control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modelled on spoilers and landing gear doors. This scenery contains a new realistic terminal, the rustic hangar area, and the tower, along with tropical landscaping, and an afcad by Ray Smith. This island along with all of the Society Islands of French Polynesia are among the most beautiful paradises on Earth. They can all be greatly enhanced by using the terrain mesh by John Applegate, and Rolf Keibel, updated for FS2004 under the name of fpsimesh.zip.
