MAW Mission set
MAW Mission set (Category: CFS3 > Missions & Campaigns)
4.42Mb (7622 downloads)
This is an updated improved set of the original MAW released missions by Wulfmann and include new spawns, facilities etc. The original missions were deleted from the first MAW because of bruised egos. These are mostly actual recreations of historic events and in some cases have the real names of those that fought and died on those days. These are the only MAW missions to be done using accurate historic reference to date. The new spawns and other files included do not alter or interfere with other MAW missions or campaign missions and can not generate on their own. Read the text for more install instructions and more extensive description.

FSX Douglas DC-6 Package (early version) (Category: FSX > Vintage)
16.63Mb (7621 downloads)
FSX Douglas DC-6 Package (early version). This is a new model of the DC-6 in its earliest form, with short nose (no weather radar), round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers and Pioneer PB-10 autopilot. These aircraft were delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. Later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped 'paddle' propellers and more powerful engines. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6's were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains models & liveries for American, United, and Delta Airlines in the U.S domestic configuration, as well as SAS and Sabena in the overwater version with 5-man crew, astrodome for navigation etc. Includes virtual cockpit. Model, textures and documentation by Jens B. Kristensen Flight Dynamics & Pilot's handling notes by FSAviator. 17MB

6.57Mb (7616 downloads)
FS2004 Lockheed L-1649A Starliner Prototype, v1.1. The Starliner was the last of the long-range piston-engine airliners. Designed to fly Los Angeles-London or Paris-Tokyo in around 20 hours non-stop, it established numerous long-distance records, many of them still current today. Providing accommodation for twenty-six first-class and forty-five tourist-class passengers, the Starliner entered service with TWA in May 1957. Other operators were Air France and Lufthansa. C/n 1001, registration N1649 (later N60968) first flew on 10 October 1956 and continued to serve with Lockheed Aircraft Corporation until 1970. The core Starliner team consists of Manfred Jahn (model), Hansjoerg Naegele (panel), Roland Berger (flight tests, dynamics, exhaust effects), and C.J. Kaeser (research). Effects by Milton Shupe (engine), Hansjoerg Naegele (fueldump), Wayne Tudor (exhaust flames). Original panel by Jan Visser. 6.7MB
