FS2004 Stinson 108-1 Voyager The Stinson 108 was produced in large numbers from the end WW2 into the 1950's. It had excellent short field performance becaused of a slotted wing and was very popular with the Flying Farmer community. This FSDSv3 project has the usual animations, landing and nav lights, and transparent glass. The 2D panel and VC are based on real photo's. The VC has working gauges and moving controls. FS2002/ 2004 Hummelbird. This is an all-aluminium homebuilt aircraft powered by a half VW engine. It is a marvelous aeroplane that flies like magic. It was designed by Morrey Hummel. I bought one and I have flown about 80 hours on it. It is stable, fast, inexpensive, easy to maintain, almost too good to be true. This model was built by Newton Drumond with a little help from Fern Marques (me), and I can tell you that it flies just like the real one! It features all moving parts, and the panel texture is a photo of my real one. Sound is the Sopwith Camel, very similar to a VW cut in half, indeed. Just unzip into any temporary folder and move to your "Aircraft" folder. 907K

FSX Oshkosh Area (KOSH), Wittman Regl (WI). Wittman Regl. Airport (KOSH) is the busiest airport in the world one week out of each year during the airshow which is held at the end of July and beginning of August on most years. This is my home area, and although this is not necessarily accurate it is designed to simply add eye candy to the area. I have built up a few of the surrounding airports that I use for my touch and go's. These airports are, Pioneer Airport, Fun Air, Vette/Blust, Cortney Plummer, Skydive, and Brennand. By Roy Perkins

FS2004 Sikorsky S-43B PP-PBM Panair do Brasil Sikorsky twin-engine amphibian built in 1936. S-43B had twin vertical tails for greater stability, and an extended nose section as an attempt to cut down water spray. Two versions included: PP-PBM used by Panair do Brasil, and NC16927 for Pan Am. These were the same aircraft. NC16927 was allocated to Panair after delivery to Pan Am. Top speed over 190 mph. Range 820 miles at cruising speed of 171 mph. Carries 15 passengers. FSDS3.5 model with virtual cockpit and passenger cabin. By George Diemer. Air file mods by Randy Cain.

This is a high-quality jet engine rumble sound for those soundpacks that have sucky rumble sounds. This sound effect was from some freeware high-quality soundpackage. **Works for any type of rumbling sound from the engines (I'd recommend airliners). Should work for reverse thrust too! :D**

FSX/FS2004/ P3D3 (Not V4) The Buccaneer was originally designed in response to the Soviet Union's Sverdlov-class cruiser construction programme. Instead of building a new fleet of its own, the Royal Navy could use the Buccaneer to attack these ships by approaching at low altitudes below the ship's radar horizon. The Buccaneer could attack using a nuclear bomb, or conventional weapons. It was later intended to carry short-range anti-shipping missiles to improve its survivability against more modern ship-based anti-aircraft weapons. The Buccaneer entered Royal Naval service in 1962. The initial production aircraft suffered a series of accidents due to insufficient engine power, which was quickly addressed in the Buccaneer S.2, equipped with more powerful Rolls-Royce Spey jet engines. The Buccaneer was also offered as an entrant into a new Royal Air Force (RAF) contest for a new attack aircraft. It was initially rejected in favour of the much more advanced supersonic BAC TSR-2, but the cost of the TSR-2 programme led to its cancellation, only to be followed by the cancellation of its selected replacement, the General Dynamics F-111K. The Buccaneer was finally purchased by the RAF, entering service in 1969. The Royal Navy retired the last of its large aircraft carriers in 1978, moving their strike role to the British Aerospace Sea Harrier, and passing their Buccaneers to the RAF. After a crash in 1980 revealed metal fatigue problems, the RAF fleet was reduced to 60 aircraft, while the rest were scrapped. The ending of the Cold War led to a reduction in strength of the RAF, and the accelerated retirement of the remaining fleet, with the last Buccaneers in RAF service being retired in 1994; in favour of the Panavia Tornado. The South African Air Force (SAAF) also procured the type. Buccaneers saw combat action in the first Gulf War of 1991, and the South African Border War. This is the excellent FS2004 model of Alphasim to whom all merits go, adjusted to its operation in FSX up to P3Dv3.
