FSX/FS2004 Pilotable Italian WW2 Battleship Roma
10.81Mb (48 downloads)
FSX/FS2004 Pilotable italian WW2 battleship Roma. It was one of three Littorio-class battleships. Buildt between 1934 and 1942. With a length of 241 m and a beam of 33 m, a power of 128000 SHP on 4 screws this vessels were the biggest and most powerful battelships of the Regia Marina. The vessels were armed with 9x15 inch guns, 12x6 inch and 4x4.7 inch guns plus plenty of AA-guns. The ships suffered during WW2 with many enemy attacks: November 1942 by a british submarine, December 1942 and April and June 1943 by US air rides. On 9th September 1943 due to the Italian armistice, a great fleet of the three battleships, six cruisers and many destroyers sailed from La Spezia to Malta to surrender and handle over the fleet to the allies. The Germans tried to prevent the italian fleet will be transfered to the allies by sending Dornier Do 217 bombers from Kampfgeschwader 100, armed with Fritz X radio-controlled bombs, to sink the italian fleet. Roma was hit twice by the precise Fritz X bombs and sank soon together with 1253 men whilst 596 survived. My model offers plenty of animations: Guns, rangefinder and a Reggiane Re2000 catapult launch. In FSX thirty four camera views provide decks- and external views to watch all the animations. The VC shows a complete nav-bri0dge. Additionally there is an AI-version included. FSDS-model, animations and cameras by Erwin Welker.

Default Cessna 182S Glass Panel with Autothrottle
2.15Mb (46 downloads)
This is a modification for the default Cessna C182S (or any light single engine propeller aircraft of your choosing) in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 that adds a modern "Glass Panel" to the aircraft using default gauges (Mainly from the Learjet 45) and a fully capable autopilot including an autothrottle. It replaces the "six pack" with the Learjet's PFD, it also places a GPS gauge on the panel replacing the older navigation gauges on the original panel and places a full autopilot gauge on the panel too. It retains the gauges needed to monitor fuel and engine status and the original gauges and switches along the bottom of the panel. The panel bitmap is from the Cessna 182RG but in 1024 resolution with the landing gear gauge removed. (It was originally made by me for FS2004 converted FS2002 Cessna 182RG). I have kept the original Radiostack Window but removed the autopilot part of the stack at the bottom

Bückeburg ETHB is one of the most important helicopter air bases in Germany. Before getting a German helicopter air base it played also an interesting role in the famous Berlin Airlift. The scenery was done by Freddy Hundertmark. It should published here not to be forgotten as the original link is no longer operational

FS2004/FSX Sikorsky S-58E N58HF (Category: FS2004 > Helicopters)
3.89Mb (166 downloads)
Built in 1957 for the US Army as a H-34A, serial number 57-1692 served with them until 1985. Civilianised as an S-58E with tail number N41844, 57-1692 had a variety of owners before going to Helicrane as N58HF in 1989. Various owners and operators followed before N58HF arrived at ADF Helicopters at Brewster, Washington in July 2019. Painted on to Paul Brewster’s excellent Sikorsky CH-34 Choctaw model, I have repainted N58HF in the colours as seen by me, in Kissimmee,Fla, in January 2008. This aircraft has not been tested in FS2002, but may still work in that sim.

Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-2
Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-2 (Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
5.48Mb (33 downloads)
Unit: VT-2 USS Lexington (CV-2) May 7, 1942 Pilot: Ensign C. Hamilton, USN. When it entered service in 1937, the Douglas TBD-1 was one of the most advanced aircraft in the world, but by 1941 it had become obsolete, too slow, under armored and hobbled with the dysfunctional Mk XII torpedo which rarely worked. It was still in frontline service in 1941 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and the US Navy had to fight with what it had left until the new TBF Avenger could be delivered to replace the Devastator. The TBD fought valiantly for the first 6 months of the war. It was used in the first hit and run fast carrier raids on Wake, Marcus, Gilberts, Tulagi and New Guinea. During the Battle of the Coral Sea, The TBDs of VT-2 and VT-5 were primarily responsible for sinking the first Japanese carrier to be lost, making 7 torpedo hits against the IJN SHOHO. Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-8
Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-8 (Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
6.65Mb (32 downloads)
Unit: VT-8 USS Hornet (CV-8) June 4, 1942 Pilot: Lt. Commander John Charles Waldron, USN. On June 4, 1942 the 41 Devastators of the Hornet (VT-8), the Yorktown (VT-3) and the Enterprise (VT-6) were launched against the 4 Japanese carriers of the Midway invasion task force. Poor coordination, poor tactics and confusion led to the 3 TBD squadrons attacking individually without coordination with each other or with the dive bomber squadrons. This gave the Japanese Combat Air Patrol Zero's plenty of time to shoot them down in detail. Only 4 TBDs made it back to the Enterprise, and 2 others to the Yorktown. VT-8 from the Hornet was completely destroyed with a single pilot - Ensign George Gay - surviving to be rescued. Credits Captain Kurt: Aircraft model, US Naval ordinance bombs, bomb racks, Mk XIII torpedo, torpedo rack, VC, paint textures, panel, and .dp file. Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-6
Douglas TBD-1 Devastator VT-6 (Category: CFS2 > Aircraft)
5.02Mb (30 downloads)
Douglas TBD-1 Devastator Unit: VT-6 USS Enterprise (CV-6) 1938 Pilot: unknown When it entered service in 1937, the Douglas TBD-1 was one of the most advanced aircraft in the world. At that time, the TBD was deemed to be the most advanced aircraft of its kind anywhere in the World. The Devastator marked a large number of `firsts’ for the US Navy. It was the first widely used carrier-based monoplane as well as the first all-metal naval aircraft, the first with a totally enclosed cockpit, the first with power-actuated (hydraulically) folding wings and in these respects the TBD was revolutionary. A semi-retractable landing gear was fitted, with the wheels designed to protrude 10in below the wings to permit a `wheels up’ landing which might limit damage to the aircraft. A crew of three was normally carried beneath a large `greenhouse’ canopy almost half the length of the aircraft. This model depicts TBD-1 BuAer number 0344 which was received by VT-6 being formed commensurate with the USS Enterprise being commissioned. After later being transferred to VT-5, it would be lost at sea on April 21, 1941. The pilot Ens. D.D. Whyte, and Bombardier ACOM A.L. Christensen were killed. The gunner, Sea2c M.S. Starcevich survived. Credits Captain Kurt: Aircraft model, US Naval ordinance bombs, bomb racks, Mk XIII torpedo, torpedo rack, VC, paint textures, panel, and .dp file. Shessi: Pilot figure Kelticheart: Prop blurred texture BeePee: Compass gauge Microsoft: Gauges and .air file

FSX Native Douglas C-74 Globemaster I Package
35.57Mb (2199 downloads)
The C-74 was planned during World War 2 as a much bigger successor to the C-54 Skymaster. An airliner version was also planned, and PanAm actually ordered it as the 'DC-7'. After the war it became obvious that a better design could be made, so only 14 C-74 Globemasters were built. With Jens kind permission: FSx native, MDL X materials and animations, 3D props &c. C-74 model and a late second block (cancelled) C-74A with nav radar, models with loads and no loads.
