Yakovlev Vak-3 Unit unknown, shot down by AA - belly landed Near warsaw, Poland 1945 Pilot unknown The idea to produce a new fighter for the Red Army Air Force went as far back as 1941. It was then that the Yakovlev Design Bureau presented the I-30 prototype, intended as an alternative to the earlier Yak-1 design. However, the German invasion of the USSR, as well as aluminium shortages, meant that the project had to be put on hold. Yakovlev resumed the development in 1943 while working on an upgraded version of the Yak-1 fighter. This time, it was decided that a new aircraft should be produced to completely replace the Yak-1 and Yak-7 models. The wings and rear fuselage were skinned with plywood for a smooth finish. The new machine was dubbed as the Yak-3 and entered service with the Red Army Air Force in June, 1944. The Yak-3 fighter quickly became very popular with Soviet pilots. They highly praised its ease of piloting and superb low-altitude performance. As a small. light, fast and highly-maneuverable aircraft up to 12,000 feet with limited range ( 1 hour duration) and firepower, the Yak-3 was used almost exclusively as low-altitude tactical fighter. Escort missions for bombers and ground-attack aircraft were reserved for the Yak-3’s big brother: The Yak-9D. FSX/FS2004 Pilotable racing schooner Atlantic. This huge three masted schooner with a total length of sixty nine meters was launched in New York in 1903. The vessel carried 1.720 square meter of sails and additionally it was equipped with a powerful but very heavy steam engine with 400 HP, which allowed seventeen knots. In 1905 "Atlantic" won a transatlantic race in only twelve days. It took hundred years to beat this record for single hull sailing ships. The new record was made by the high tech light weight racing yacht Mari-Cha IV. During WWI "Atlantic" served as supply vessel for submarines and during WWII as training vessel for the US coast guard. The original "Atlantic" was scrapped in 1982 whilst the new replic was launched in 2008. My model is very detailed and offers some special animations. The angle on the Z-axis can be increased in three steps by using Flaps and four configurations of sails can be set. In FSX twenty camera views provide decks- and mast views. This is my second update for FSX of the FSD T-38 TALON. I just gave it a better 2D panel background. I took the picture from an L29 aircraft panel and cleaned all the clutter off it. Then I had to reposition the gauges on it. I was able to put almost all the gauges on this panel as were on the other update I just uploaded. I am leaving the 16x9 panel there and only the first aircraft has the new panel. If you want to use it for all the paints, remove anything that is after the panel= for that paint. The reason I am uploading this is because of how much easier I found to land the aircraft with this 2D panel.

MSN 742 was built in 2006 and flight tested as F-WWYF. Delivered to Turkish Airlines in May 2006 as TC-JNC, she wore the standard colour scheme for the fleet. Renamed Kishimoto, she was repainted in this retro scheme in October 2015, and she continues to wear this scheme to this day. Painted on to Tom Ruth's superb A330-200 model, this repaint shows TC-JNC as seen in early 2025.

This is an update For FSX of the FSD T-38 TALON. I have changed and/or added some gauges to the 2D panel; given it an air file, not a partial one; added afterburner effects; removed one of the smoke effects so there is only the one centre one; corrected the position of the contact points; and updated the flight dynamics.

FS2004 Dornier do-28g 3 models and blank psd textures. Detailed Gmax rebuild with completely instrumented flyable VC though with FS2004-style levers and unfinished interior. Just about all that moves on the real thing moves accordingly here. Further improved flight characteristics using the FS9 turboprop model now featuring properly flat-rated PT6A-110 engines. This is an update for FSX of the F-16C by Kirk Olesson. It includes all 6 paints of the Thunderbirds. I found textures for T-bird #5 that had the left side 5 correct and used it along with the other 5 textures. I changed the afterburner effects; gave it a different panel; and updated the flight dynamics. Warning: if you already have a Thunderbird paint in your airplanes folder you may have to choose between this update and what you already have.
