FS2004/FSX SNCASE 5000 / 5003 Baroudeur, Version 3 with new "what-if" configurations. A French fighter bomber prototype of the early fifties. The SNCASE Baroudeur made its first flight on August 1st 1953. The main particularity of this aircraft was the absence of landing gear, resulting in a significant weight saving and the ability to dispense with concrete runways. The aircraft was taking-off using a separate carriage and had retractable skids for landing. These skids even allow the plane to take-off autonomously from snow or ice-covered strips. Contains all the previous versions and animations (separated carriage for take-off, realistic view on the inside jet-engine, pilot ladder, guns, etc.) + two fictional ("what-if ?") versions : equipped with a landing gear + a fantasy "Patrouille de France" livery from the sixties. Also included is a tutorial on how to add display smoke to any aircraft in any colour and have as many smoke trails you desire coming from any location of the aircraft. This is a Vickers Vimy originally created by microsoft for FS9, and is now usable for FSX. I have tested it and found no problems. Please read the Readme!!! file for installation instructions.

This is the whole Ford Trimotor package for FSX, compiled and updated for FSX by David Grindele.The focus of this upload is on an enhanced VC, because the ugly default VC design doesn't do it justice at all and doesn't contain all the gauges a Trimotor Prop should have. So the new VC now both displays more gauges and a major improvement of the VC's appearance in general. However, the gauges added are there just for appearance and are non-functional, as the VC structure unfortunately is not set for a configuration of more functioning gauges. Also, all the textures have new thumbnails added, because the default ones don't really depict the colors of the paints in most cases. In addition, new smoke effect and camera views have been added as well. Original model by Microsoft, FSX update and texture compilation by David Grindele, new camera views by Erwin Welker and new Vc design, new thumbnails as well as smoke effect by Michael Pook.

Replacement VC lighting for the FSX Lear 45, to make night flying more enjoyable. The default dome lighting was far too bright so this has been brought down to a realistic level. In addition to this most of the display lighting has been replaced with a blue/white LED style including a small glow effect. The overall mod means you can now enjoy night flying and the instrument lighting. Check out the before and after pictures in the File info
