I realized the need for some Desert Storm Tornadoes and during a recent long weekend that we had, I figured that there are not a better time than during that weekend to do something about it. The available models aren’t exactly the correct version, but as stated so many times before – I can only work with what there is to work with. As usual I had to improvise here and there, but the end result looks pretty good. The colour-palette that I’ve decided on are sourced from the best colour photos of Tornadoes from that war that I could obtain off the Internet. It gives one a good idea of how a rather freshly painted Tornado would have looked like. But in my modelling career that has started in 1978, I learned that the choice of the correct colour for an aircraft model can lead to hefty discussions. I’ve also re-drawn the respective aircraft’s Nose-arts to the best of my abilities (Not a cut-n-paste business from a photograph). You have a good reputation for flying rescue missions in the Himalayas and have now been called upon to take on a dangerous mission to fly in additional troops and military equipment then to evacuate Mountain Resort hotel guests and fly them safely to Tribhuvan International in Kathmandu (VNKT). On approach to and take off from Jomsom, your aircraft will encounter rebel anti-aircraft flak, tracer fire and severe windshear...beware.

This is a new version of the recently released AlphaSim P-51D dressed for Korean War action. She incorporates the QC/Missions Bug fix, has a new skin from Bub, Bob McGee, representing 'Triple Zero' of the 67 FBS/18 FBG. The panel has an added Window (SHIFT+5) for the Korean GPS gauge...in addition to an already complete Nav panel. It is mousable and contains all of the pertinent fields in Korea....from McClelland's Far East Scenery (Fox Four Korea). The weapons, panel and gauges are included.

The elegant Merlin III is a high-performance, pressurized-cabin, twin-engine turboprop airplane. Most often employed as a corporate transport, it usually seats from 9 to 11 (although it's certificated for up to 17 people). This is a freeware 2d- high visibility Panaromic panel made from an actual photo of the Delfin with near actual gauges (gauges included) as close to real thing as possible. The height of the eyeview is same as would be seen by a 5ft7in pilot in a delfin cockpit. A hud has been included (not on actual aircraft) to make flying easier. Col Sanjay Bajpai
