FS2004 Dornier 128-6 "D-IBUF" -"the unfinished" - in it's current TU Braunschweig layout. Detailed Gmax rebuild with completely instrumented flyable VC though with FS2002-style levers and unfinished interior. Just about all that moves on the real thing moves accordingly here. Further improved flight characteristics using the FS9 turboprop model now featuring properly flat-rated PT6A-110 engines. Treat this bird nicely and it will treat you well also. Disregard it's few limitations - then look out :-) This project can only be finished if my currently disappeard excellent gmax design partner Antonis "Anthony" Konstantinidis reappears again (the detailed outside texturing is also by him). FSX Carrier Operation Package v3.0. This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static and moving). It features (1) A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2) An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3) A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4) A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC. FS2004/FSX Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero Package (V.01). It was the most important Italian bomber of World War II, this tough three-engined aircraft established a reputation that contrasted with most Italian weapons of the day, and it was flown with courage and skill. SM.79s served widely in the normal bombing role, but it is as a land-based torpedo bomber that the type deserves its place in military aviation history, being regarded by many as one of the finest torpedo bombers of the war. The basic design continued the company's tradition of mixed construction with steel tubes light alloy wood and fabric (this being the only way to produce in quantity with available skills and tools); in spite of its cumbersome appearance and outdated construction, the S.M.79 was a rugged, reliable multi-role medium bomber which did quite a bit of damage in the face of heavy opposition. About 1,300 production models were built over a nine year period. They had internal provision for 2,750 lb (1,250 kg) of bombs, supplemented by under fuselage rack for a torpedo. The SM.79 had a distinctive 'hump' on the upper forward fuselage, which housed both the fixed forward-firing heavy machine-gun and the dorsal gunner's position. Its appearance earned the aircraft the nickname 'Gobbo Maledetto' ('Damned Hunchback'). Post-war surviving SM.79s were converted into various versions of utility transports during the last phases of the war and survived in that role until 1952. FS2004/FSX Grumman American AA-5B Tiger. First introduced in 1974, the AA-5 series were unique in their bonded honeycomb airframes, producing a simple, smooth, and strong structure. With a sliding canopy and quick controls, the AA-5 were a breed apart. The later AA-5B series had more powerful engines, giving a needed boost in performance. This SF9/FSX model is painted in a real world paint scheme, and has full ani's and VC (virtual cockpit) with some custom gauges. Includes extra FSX files to ease porting over to FSX. Tim Conrad. 5.5MB
