FS2004 Boeing 717 Panel. Call it DC9, MD80, 717 - whatever. This is/was a great little plane - as nimble as a regional jet - yet stable as a 757. Douglas flooded the market with these things while trying to unload MD11s in package deals. The MD11s are history (shame), but these boys are still flying high and strong. Almost all pilots jumping up to the majors flew these planes for years. Admittedly, the old cockpits were a mess and you needed four eyes to keep track of the instruments. When the 717, or the first MD90 EHD came along, they had these glass gauges and it truly became a joy to fly these things. Now, Boeing has decided to discontinue production. The version 2.0 includes significant improvements for the VC and the external model in terms of display quality and animations. Pls read the release history documentation inside the zip file for more information. The aircraft has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2 under Windows 7. It has also been tested with Microsoft FSX Acceleration, and P3D simulator but full compatibility is not guaranteed by the author. This package includes the aircraft model (Single-Seater, Two-Seater), a virtual cockpit (VC) and a 2D panel. All three parts have been designed and developed according to a large number of technical documents, descriptions, and pictures from the Eurofighter. The 2D panel has been developed for wide screen monitors only. The design goal was to develop an aircraft model along with a VC and a 2D panel as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was, however, not possible to program all the functions and displays, because of the complexity of the real Eurofighter, due to limitations in FSX, and classified capabilities. Changes and additional functions have been made for simplification or gameplay reasons. The panel with the MFD displays, HUD, radar functionality, weapon simulation and indicators gives a good impression on how the real Eurofighter cockpit looks inside. A significant effort has been made to test, update and improve the flight dynamics of the model. The model includes and supports the following additional payloads : Three external tanks, 6 AMRAAM missiles (mid range Air to Air weapons), 2 IRIS missiles (short range Air to Air weapons), 4 PWIV laser bombs. External tanks and the weapons are configurable via a panel MFD screen. Paints are included for: GE, UK, Italy, Spain, Austria, SAAF, NATO, and just the base texture. This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included documentation carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you. FS2004 Hughes MD500 Package. One of the world's most successful and useful light turbine helicopters, the Hughes/McDonnell Douglas/Boeing 500 series began life in response to a US Army requirement for a light observation helicopter. Hughes won the US Army observation helicopter contest. They then announced they were developing a civil version, to be marketed as the Hughes 500 (Hughes Model 369). It was offered in basic five and seven seat configurations. The 500D, was an improved version with a more powerful engine, a Ttail, and new five blade main and optional four blade tail rotors. The D was followed by the 500E from 1982 with recontoured nose and various interior improvements including greater head and leg room. The 530F is a more powerful version optimised for hot and high work. McDonnell Douglas acquired Hughes Helicopters in January 1984, and from August 1985 the 500E and 530F were built as the MD500E and MD 530F Lifter. Contains VC & a variety of textures.
