CFS2/FS2002/ PA-48 Enforcer
With new ideas of how to keep the P-51 Mustang alive in 1968 and in service, the long-standing workhorse Merlin V- 12 was replaced with a turboprop.
This mod was not funded by the USAF, but by Cavalier.
The new modification was called the Turbo Mustang III. Later, Cavalier sold the project to Piper. The Enforcer had little in common with the original P-51 and it was flight tested in April 1971. The USAF, under pressure from Congress, did order two prototype PA-48 from Piper. No other orders were placed and the project died. The two PA- 48 Enforcers do exist today at USAF Museums.

The DHC2 MkIII Turbine Beaver model replaced the piston engine of the standard Beaver with a 500,13 kW (680 ehp) Pratt & Whitney PT6A-6 or -20 turboprop engine. An extra section was added to the fuselage which allowed an extra fuel tank and two additional passengers. New model, textures, landinglights and turbine gauges by A.F.Scrub

Update for FSX of the Iris Global Express

This is an update for FSX of the Iris Global
Express. I have included the panel from the
CRJ-700 and the paint kit from the Iris
Easter Egg, for all the ones who like to add
textures. I have added the rest of the
wheels and 4 scrape points. It did not come
with any scrape points. Like the Sentinel
update, I have included the interior model
file from the CRJ-700. I have updated the
flight dynamics which included adding more
fuel and reducing the payload weight.

Racing floatplanes from the Virtual Schneider Project updated for FSX

10 Racing floatplanes which should have or actually took part in the Schneider Trophy back in 1929. Originally made for FS2004 as part of a freeware project called Virtual Schneider Project by Transglobal. Since the project, makers and models seem to have disappeared from the internet, I decided to not let their work be lost and forgotten. I updated them to make them usable in FSX. They all have a reasonable virtual cockpit. Installation is a simple copy-paste operation. These racers are different beasts to fly: Some need speeds of more than 100 knots to rotate. Most are unstable below 150 knots and require high speed and effective use of the trim to stabilize. Top speeds are surprising for floatplanes and high-g turns, a couple of feet above the water, are what they were made for. All credits go to the original makers of the Virtual Schneider Project. Have fun!
