This airport MSSS was developed using ADEX v1.47, and tested using FSXA Acceleration. I took the default FSX MSSS and enhanced almost everything visible within the airport boundary fence. I also added some airport and land vehicles and lots of extras to populate the ground. Since Ilopango is a Military Airport, I added armored vehicles, static fighter jets, static military helicopters and even military personnel (watch them closely because they are also watching around, i.e. they are moving). Also added are static DC3s and a grave-yard B737 along but safely away from Rwy 09/27. I put a parking lot outside main terminal facing main apron including parked cars and I included some buildings, e.g. a fast-food restaurant, small hotel. JD Sceneries' rendition of Anson County Airport represents the airport as it looks as of December 2008, with all buildings, hangars, and other structures modeled, in addition to the large "Triangle Brick" factory across the railroad tracks. Look forward to future updates adding more hangars and a full ILS system.

10 Racing floatplanes which should have or actually took part in the Schneider Trophy back in 1929. Originally made for FS2004 as part of a freeware project called Virtual Schneider Project by Transglobal. Since the project, makers and models seem to have disappeared from the internet, I decided to not let their work be lost and forgotten. I updated them to make them usable in FSX. They all have a reasonable virtual cockpit. Installation is a simple copy-paste operation. These racers are different beasts to fly: Some need speeds of more than 100 knots to rotate. Most are unstable below 150 knots and require high speed and effective use of the trim to stabilize. Top speeds are surprising for floatplanes and high-g turns, a couple of feet above the water, are what they were made for. All credits go to the original makers of the Virtual Schneider Project. Some problems have been appearing with the HUD gauge. This is a fix for those who are having that problem.
