KGFL - Glens Falls, Floyd Bennett Memorial v3.0, located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY USA, this facility is owned by Warren County and run by RichAir. Although it has a 5000 ft main rwy, KGFL is a Non-controlled airfield catering to small engine a/c up to a few private jet daily traffic serving 'The Northcountry' New York. KGFL recently received several upgrades including 4 new GA hangars large enough to accommodate the needs of business jets. All Objects fully designed and completely redone in GMAX using high resolution custom photo-real textures. Complete rebuild from the ground up for FSX since v2.2 for Fs9. Also includes new ADE file, more accurate airport grounds perimeter, satellite photo-real grounds, custom taxiways, 3D taxi-signs and taxi lights, area roads, animated hangar doors, and near area landclass. Reworked and additional views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the beautiful Cessna 414A Chancellor by Premier Aircraft Design. YAFSScreen is a rewrite of Matthias Holzers great FSScreen-Program - It can save a single image (or other data that has been copied to the clipboard) in multiple copies to several directories. - It does not remove the data from the clipboard as FSScreen appears to do. So you can still paste into another program and non-standard copy/paste operations as in MS Excel continue to work even if YAFSScreen is running. - When saving images you can select from (as of now) three formats. BMP, GIF and JPEG, selecting special options where applicable. - Images can be scaled in various ways before being saved. I use this to save a thumbnail and a full-size-image from every screenshot. - After saving a file YAFSScreen can run any program on it. - It opens explorer on the target folder at the press of a button to allow browsing. - It has a longer name. In a great tradition I have called it "Yet Another FSScreen". 786K

This is an update for FSX of the Iris Global Express. I have included the panel from the CRJ-700 and the paint kit from the Iris Easter Egg, for all the ones who like to add textures. I have added the rest of the wheels and 4 scrape points. It did not come with any scrape points. Like the Sentinel update, I have included the interior model file from the CRJ-700. I have updated the flight dynamics which included adding more fuel and reducing the payload weight.

10 Racing floatplanes which should have or actually took part in the Schneider Trophy back in 1929. Originally made for FS2004 as part of a freeware project called Virtual Schneider Project by Transglobal. Since the project, makers and models seem to have disappeared from the internet, I decided to not let their work be lost and forgotten. I updated them to make them usable in FSX. They all have a reasonable virtual cockpit. Installation is a simple copy-paste operation. These racers are different beasts to fly: Some need speeds of more than 100 knots to rotate. Most are unstable below 150 knots and require high speed and effective use of the trim to stabilize. Top speeds are surprising for floatplanes and high-g turns, a couple of feet above the water, are what they were made for. All credits go to the original makers of the Virtual Schneider Project. This airport MSSS was developed using ADEX v1.47, and tested using FSXA Acceleration. I took the default FSX MSSS and enhanced almost everything visible within the airport boundary fence. I also added some airport and land vehicles and lots of extras to populate the ground. Since Ilopango is a Military Airport, I added armored vehicles, static fighter jets, static military helicopters and even military personnel (watch them closely because they are also watching around, i.e. they are moving). Also added are static DC3s and a grave-yard B737 along but safely away from Rwy 09/27. I put a parking lot outside main terminal facing main apron including parked cars and I included some buildings, e.g. a fast-food restaurant, small hotel. Make sure you look around the airport while taxing to enjoy all the eye candy on the ground. MSSS-Ilopango Intl Upgrade by Jamagn.
