FS2004/FSX Gloster Gladiator. The Gloster Gladiator was a British-built biplane fighter; its last such fighter. It was used by the Royal Air Force. First flown in 1934 it was rendered obsolete by newer monoplane designs even as it was being introduced to the RAF in 1937 with its new enclosed cockpit and four guns. Two models are included here, the Mk1 and the Mk2, the main difference between them being the use of a three blade prop on the Mk2. Modelled by Dave Molyneaux.

Contained in this stand-alone package is a Vampire of the South African Air Force circa 1971. It also sports 'seemingly' transparent engine covers that allows one to see the jetintakes, these are automatically added on engine shut-down. I decided to create this set of revised textures as I realized the lack of such a specimen for use with FSX. It also portrays really nice in a sunlit blue sky. FS2004 Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base Vietnam, Late 60's Scenery. A model of Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base (NKP). Situated in the far northeast corner of Thailand right across the Mekong River from Laos, NKP was the smallest, remotest, and most primitive of the Thai airbases utilized by the US Air Force. Many of the operations that were conducted at NKP were top-secret. NKP was the headquarters of “Task Force Alpha”, the underground command center directing “Arc Light” bombing of the Ho Chi Minh trail. The 56th Air Commando Wing employed a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters for interdiction, close air support, psychological warfare, search and rescue, forward air control, and clandestine insertion and extraction of special operations personnel in Laos and North Vietnam. One of the key covert missions conducted at NKP was “Operation Igloo White”, which involved the planting and monitoring of electronic sensors along the Ho Chi Minh trail. FS2002 Douglas C-47 41-18385 (1942) Aircraft no. 4423, fuselage number 224, with the USAAC serial no. 41-18385, tail no. 118385, this C-47 was rolled out of the Douglas plant on 4th June, 1942. She went on to become Cathay Pacific's founding aircraft as the DC-3 "Betsy". Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002. Side bench seating, transparent cabin windows with authentic gunports, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening embarkation door and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridwales.
